Why breathwork for your business?

While some degree of stress can increase performance we all know the adverse impacts of chronic stress, from reduced concentration, memory, and decision making faculties, to physical and psychological symptoms such as decreased immunity and increased anxiety and depression. The Organizational costs are significant: reduced performance and productivity, turnover, interpersonal challenges, and negative morale.

While meditation, yoga, therapy, and other modalities can help, they often require long-term engagement. Breathwork is the quickest way to release accumulated stress and tension from the body and nervous system, and to help people access the full spectrum of their innate gifts and capacities.

Breathwork also catalyzes "Flow State" experiences, in which profound insight, vision, and perspective becomes possible. Flow states enable creative problem-solving and seeing things from an entirely new perspective, as well as heightened sense of possibility and potential.

Flow states can be induced by activities like long distance running, meditation, and psychedelics, but breathwork is the most accessible route, especially in the corporate environment. In breathwork, brain activity in the prefrontal cortex is reduced (in a process called Transient Hypofrontality), which helps people transcend the “monkey mind” and tap into new neural pathways that support creative connections and intuitive solutions.
